Barre classes are here!

I am so pleased to announce that the training barres have finally arrived from the US and classes are already being added to the Time Center schedule. Barre classes are a great way to cross train your body and apply your Pilates principles to movement in the standing (vertical) position. Barre classes incorporate all of the Pilates principles and during the 55-minute class your spine goes through all of its potential (and safe) ranges of position. You will work on proper hip, knee and ankle alignment, and coordination of the upper and lower body in rhythm with music. Your cardiopulmonary system gets a workout, bringing fresh oxygen and blood to the whole body. You will leave feeling energized! Welcome to Barre class!
